Executive Coaching
As an executive coach I work with clients on a range of challenges unique to the demands of the current work environment. While this is different from psychotherapy, my clients feel supported by my knowledge of the human mind, emotions, motivation, group dynamics, phases of life, and ethics gained from my years of training and private practice experience.
We will work together to explore challenges in workflow, organization, motivation, and navigating social intricacies. For clients with managerial responsibilities, we will think expansively about the intricacies of helping employees with the prior mentioned goals as well as managing conflict, delegating tasks, organizing departments, employee retention and hiring, and creating optimal conditions for enhanced productivity.
Qualifications and Philosophy
See my about page for some information on my background in psychology. In graduate school, I took a course in Organizational and Industrial psychology. As a licensed clinical psychologist I have worked for four years with a consultant who works as both a clinical psychologist and an executive coach. Through my experience managing mental health settings and working in various settings, I’ve developed a passion for focusing on enhancing the work environment. I believe a career should represent an area of one’s life in which that person strives to make an impact and feel a sense of pushing hard without forgoing security and comfort.
Along with my expertise in psychology, I bring a deep knowledge of existentialism, Buddhism, US and world history, and current health and wellness practices. This unique theoretical and practical knowledge base is how I am able to help my clients come to novel and exciting approaches to their lives.
